"Last year, our Sheltie Cassie, who is now 12yrs old, had severe diarrhoea and the vet said his prognosis wasn't good. However, after treatment he made a full recovery, but as he had always been prone to upset stomachs we decided to put him on Denes Digestion Plus tablets and since then he has been brilliant. He also used to have dreadful breath, but now he is fine. We had stopped taking him in the car, as this would upset him and with his long coat was not pleasant. Since Christmas, we have taken him with us several times and had no problems. So thank you Denes."

Denes Homeopathic Range Wins PATS 2009 Retailers' Choice Pet Care Product of the Year Award
From votes cast by pet, aquatics and water gardening retailers countrywide, the first ever Pet & Aquatic Trade Show Product of the Year Award winners were announced on May 6th at Harrogate International Centre, North Yorkshire. Retailers visiting the dual venue show - Sandown Park in March and Harrogate in May - voted for the products that impressed them the most. Entries were displayed on the Retailers' Choice Showcases at each of the venues and also on the website of pet trade title PBW News, who sponsored the showcases and Product of the Year Awards.
Denes Homeopathic Remedies for cats, dogs and small animals won the PET CARE PRODUCT AWARD. On learning of the award, Peter Leaney, managing director commented "We are delighted that our range of homeopathic remedies has been selected by retailers as winner of the Pet Care Product category. The selection by retailers adds further prestige to the award and demonstrates that more retailers have recognised pet owners’ increasing interest in natural remedies."
Homeopathy is becoming increasingly popular and the introduction of these new remedies provides pet owners with a further choice of products, which offer a natural, safe and effective way to deal with many common health problems in cats, dogs and other small animals. The range includes 15, easy to administer, liquid remedies in dropper bottles, all of which are available online with the 6 core remedies available through the retail trade in attractive dual faced, cat/dog and small animal, packaging. These include Arnica, Arsenicum album, Nux vomica, Sulphur, Ruta grav and Rhus tox. The composition of the whole range has been formulated by Denes' veterinary advisor Tim Couzens, a veterinary surgeon, who is a qualified homeopath and who runs a referral centre specialising in complementary therapies.

"My cat is eighteen and a half and has become "arthriticy". Or at least he was until I discovered your Rhus Tox, He is now a different cat. Before he had to grapple his way onto the sofa, now he jumps; the stairs are not such a problem anymore either. I did try other things but if he detected them he would eat round them or not eat at all. I own two pet shops and have been in the business for 17 years and this is the first time something has come out that cat owners (especially) can use and know that there won't be any fights over whether they will eat their food or not, not to mention the great results. Anyway many thanks for such a great product!"

It is with regret that it has been necessary to implement price rises today on many of our products. This follows numerous substantial increases in the costs of raw materials and energy in the 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2008. We are absorbing as much of these increases as we can.
Sadly, there will be a further rise in prices on our 400g canned food ranges from Monday 2nd February 2009, which will increase the price of a can to £1.05. These increases are the result of a rise of 45% in the price of tin plate for 2009, which impacts on the costs to us of our cans and lids.
Looking forward we would like to give our customers our assurance that we will do everything possible to bring stability to our prices in 2009.
New range of homeopathic remedies introduced - 7th May 2008
We are delighted to announce the introduction of our new range of homeopathic remedies for cats, dogs and other small animals. The range consists of 15 remedies and these can now be found here on our site.
Our remedies have been presented in liquid form, as this method offers the most convenient way of administering such a remedy to an animal. In order to provide our customers with a choice of purchase routes we have also made the 6 boxed (core) remedies available to the retail trade.
