Following much debate here at the office, particularly between the cat and dog owners, we have finally selected Susie Thomas’ picture of George as the winning entry in our Seasonal Photo Competition.

George, reluctant or just cosy?

 George’s Mummy was delighted when we advised her of George’s success, so much so that we have printed her response in full.

“That’s so exciting, I’m such a proud Mummy! 

George & I live with his two sisters – Ethel & Lily – in Radley, Oxford.  They are 2½.  George is a mummy’s boy and his best place in the world is on my back – I wear him like a rucksack.  He especially likes it after a shower when he grooms my wet hair.  He also brings me lots of presents; on Boxing Day I was treated to a live rat followed the next day by a live vole.  Both were saved and released back into the woods.  He likes rice, cottage cheese and soup, but doesn’t really like tuna.  He and Ethel play constantly and haven’t realised they aren’t kittens any longer.  He loves bottles tops and ribbons when he’s playing on his own.  He always greets me when I come home from work and it’s obvious he’s missed me as much as I’ve missed him, we have big cuddles in the evenings and he loves to be showered in kisses. 

All in all, he’s a pretty special little boy (and my girls are quite wonderful too!)

We have now introduced the first products in a new range of Herbal Tinctures. These include tinctures for the support of both the Kidneys and Bladder in cats and dogs.

The tinctures are based on herbal extracts that are carried in alcohol. They are offered in 50ml bottles with graduated dropper pipettes to help with dosing, particularly when feeding for dogs. The tinctures for cats include vegetable glycerine to improve palatability.

Excellent support for the digestive system

As a result of EU Regulation1831/2003 on Additives for use in Animal Nutrition it has been necessary for us to reformulate our Probiotic+ Powder.  Unfortunately, the exercise has taken longer than we would have wished and we have now run out of stocks of the current product.  We are expecting delivery of the new product in 4-6 weeks, but we are working hard to improve on this.  In the meantime, we recommend that you consider our Digestion+ Powder for digestive problems.

Hello Denes team

Just wanted to say thanks for such wonderful products & helping to provide many more happier & healthier years to my old dog Ari (rough collie cross).  I am proud to say he lived to almost 16 years old. 

Ari - missed, but a long and happy life.

He was diagnosed with chronic cystitis 6 years ago which resulted in continual trips to the vet for catheterisation, scans & antibiotics which only ever seemed to work short term. Since discovering Denes & giving Ari Denes kidney Tablets & treatment with Cantharis 30c at first signs of a urination problem I had no more expensive & stressful trips to the vet which was an absolute God send & the condition became 100% manageable using natural medicines.  Having been so impressed with these products & subsequently learning more about natural remedies & herbal medicines I changed Ari to an organic low protein diet & supplemented
